CHIVALRY CHORUS (GRADES 6, 7, 8)

Full Choir - Cycle days B and D during Resource Period

The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade chorus is a choir for any 6th through 8th grade student interested in singing! Students should expect to learn healthy vocal technique as they sing in a variety of musical styles and genres from new to old. Mr. Roberts will provide folders and music each rehearsal. Students will be responsible for bringing a pencil and a positive attitude to every rehearsal!

SHINING ARMOR CHORUS (GRADES 4, 5)

Tues. 3:15 - 4:15 PM

The 4th and 5th grade chorus is a choir for any 4th and 5th grade student interested in singing! This choir meets Tuesdays after school from 3:25pm-4:15pm throughout the entire school year. Learning a healthy approach to singing is a huge focus in this choir. Students will also enjoy songs from different styles and genres as they sing with their friends! Mr. Roberts will provide folders and music for each rehearsal. Students will be responsible for bringing a pencil and a positive attitude to every rehearsal!

KNIGHTS OF SOUND (GRADES 6, 7, 8)

Tues. and Fri. 7:55 - 8:25 AM

The Knights of Sound is a choir for any 6th through 8th grade singer interested in taking their singing skills to the next level! Students interested in singing in the Knights of Sound will need to complete a vocal audition. Students are selected to sing in Knights of Sound based on their character, teachability, and vocal ability. If selected, the choir meets Tuesdays and Fridays before school from 7:55am-8:55am throughout the entire school year. Students should expect to use their healthy singing technique as they explore challenging middle school vocal repertoire from a variety of styles, genres, languages, and time periods. These students should also expect to sing in extra curricular engagements throughout the school year. Mr. Roberts will distribute folders and music at the beginning of the school year. Students will be responsible for bringing a pencil, music folder, and a positive attitude to every rehearsal! Audition information will be made available in September and again in January.

Note about Google Classroom:  If your child participates in one of the WGMS choirs then it is critical that you get connected to Google classroom! Email Mr. Roberts to receive updates about rehearsals, performances, and ways to get involved!
